Handbell Ringers

The Handbell Ringers were formed in 1990 and have grown from strength to strength over the years.  They meet weekly on Sunday evenings at 7.15pm to rehearse music, try new arrangements, catch-up with one another and have fun!   

The music repertoire ranges from hymn tunes to folk, classical music to music from musicals and films, from to popular and also music specially composed for bells. Occasionally the Handbells also take part in Sunday morning services, depending on availability. 

They also give concerts to many different groups and organisations throughout the year, and are in great demand over the Advent and Christmas season to ring in some festive cheer.

The Handbell Ringers meet between August and May, with a summer break.  New ringers are always welcome – if you fancy trying something new then get in touch!
