We are a thriving part of Girlguiding and operate under three sections—
Rainbows, age group 5 to 7 year olds.
Brownies, age group 7 to 10 year olds.
Guides, age group 10 to 15 year olds.
Each section is run by a Guider in charge, together with other adult leaders. All have been subject to Disclosure Scotland.
Our aim is to provide fun, together with ongoing development of the girls, providing them with various skills and opportunities to participate in a variety of activities.
Within the Brownie and Guide sections girls are encouraged to work together in sixes/patrols to prepare for and sit interest badges.
Each member, girl and adult, makes their Promise, relevant to the section. The Promise wording can be altered to suit girls from all faiths.
